Research Assistants

Victoria Celio

Victoria started working at the lab in May 2023 and has supported many projects conducted by the lab. These projects include:

  • Evaluating the number and types of Quantitative Methods resources cited in peer-reviewed research articles

  • Assessing students' experiences with statistics anxiety through qualitative inquiry 

  • Evaluating a revised version of the Statistics Anxiety Rating Scale (STARS)

Victoria is a Masters student in York University's Psychology Program specializing in Quantitative Methods. ​​​

Tatijanna Martel

Tatijanna joined the PASER lab in 2023 and has supported a number of lab projects. She is also a research assistant forRobust Statistics Lab.

 

Lab Projects:

  • GAISE study

​

Tatijanna is in her fourth year of her undergraduate degree in York University's Psychology program. She is an overall statistics enthusiast, with a wide range of interests. Some topics she likes currently are, statistics education, equivalence testing, and anxiety/attitudes towards statistics. Outside the lab, you will find Tatijanna playing with R studio, doing yoga, or crocheting.​​​

Matula Prabaharan

Matula joined the PASER lab in 2023 and has supported a number of lab projects. She is also a research assistant for the Cognitive Aging Lab and an honours thesis student with the Brain Imaging Lab.

Matula is currently completing her BA in Psychology and Data Analytics with a minor in Math at TMU.​​​

Egla Andualem

Egla joined the PASER Lab in January 2025 as a practicum student.

Egla is in her final year of undergraduate studies in the Psychology program at TMU. She is passionate about research, with a specificity in quantitative methods, as it relates to cognition and decision-making. Her hobbies outside of the lab include baking and watching movies.

Vesna Belijo

Vesna joined the PASER Lab in January 2025.​ She recently graduated from TMU with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.

Nicolette Tawkin

Nicolette joined the PASER Lab in January 2025 as a practicum student. She is currently completing her undergraduate studies in the Psychology program at TMU.
